Driveways and Patios Built for Blackland Clay Soil
We pour and repair driveways, patios, walkways and slabs for homeowners across McKinney and the towns around it.
A quick look at the concrete work we do most.
A driveway poured with the base and joints to handle a truck, not just a sedan.
An outdoor slab finished the way you actually want to use it, broom or stamped.
The look of pavers or stone without the joints that let weeds through.
Cracked or sunken slabs fixed without tearing the whole thing out.
Walkways poured level and jointed so they don't trip anyone in five years.
A slab foundation poured flat, square and ready for the framers.
We pour concrete driveways, patios, walkways and slabs for homeowners in McKinney and the towns around it. Most people find us after a driveway has heaved at the seams or a patio slab has dropped an inch on one corner. Clay soil out here swells when it's wet and shrinks hard in a drought, and a lot of concrete around here was poured without accounting for that. If your slab is cracking, sinking or pooling water where it shouldn't, that's usually why.
We over-excavate and compact the base before we ever set a form, so the slab isn't sitting on loose dirt that moves with the season. We saw-cut control joints within the first day of the pour, before the concrete decides on its own where to crack. We use rebar instead of wire mesh on driveways and anything that'll see a vehicle, and we give the pour the full cure time before you park on it. That's the difference between a slab that lasts and one you're calling someone about again in three years.

Not on the list? Give us a call anyway. We are often working nearby.
Most of our work comes from someone telling a neighbor about us. Here is why that keeps happening.
We carry the license and insurance a concrete job like this calls for.
Every quote is written down, with the yardage and finish spelled out.
Forms, spoil dirt and washout water leave with us, not your yard.
The same crew that quotes the job pours and finishes it.
We track the forecast and won't pour concrete into rain.
We know how McKinney clay behaves and build for it.
Our driveway in McKinney had a crack you could see from the street. They cut it out and re-poured that section, matches fine, you'd never know if you didn't watch them do it.
Truck couldn't get down our alley in Allen so they wheelbarrowed it in, added a day but no extra charge. Patio's held up two summers now, no cracking.
Sunken corner by our garage in Prosper finally got leveled, no more tripping on it. Took about half a day.
